Cheers, Stomps & Whistles

What's happening friends and family...welcome to Silly Pancakes!

As I mention in the intro to this episode, yes the name of the show was changed. No, it does not make sense as to why. Yes, you're confused. No, I really don't care a whole lot. Why? Because we're all madly in love and will get over it soon. Why? Because I smell nice and you're far too forgiving! <3

ANYWAYS - this week's guest is a doozy of a woozy of a floozy...hmm...

Mr. Josh Simpson joins me to chat about comedy, music, his dog Dre, why I (Ryan) can't get out of my own damn head and what thoughts were rushing through his own damn head when he had to pull his wiener out on the UCB stage...yup...that happened.

If you'd like to see Josh perform in Los Angeles, you are more than welcome to stumble into any improv club from Sunday through Saturday. He'll most likely be there. More specifically, you can see his show Take It From Us PR on March 26th, 2015 at UCB Sunset. Seriously...go!

Well, well, well...hello there! Welcome to a very special description of a very special bonus episode of WhatsaPodcast.

This week, I had the pleasure to speak with two lovely ladies - Jean Schwartz & Claire Gordon-Harper. Jean (writer/director/producer) and Claire (actress/producer) reached out to me and asked if they could come on the show and chat about their upcoming film The Average Girl's Guide to Suicide (aka...TAGGTS).

...of course I said yes!

After a failed suicide attempt, Sarah joins a group of suicide survivors in a hospital psychiatric unit.  Their secret group’s goal is to help each other successfully complete suicide. But an inspiring therapist and a budding romance make Sarah question, does she want to live or die?

Jean, Claire and the rest of the TAGGTS team are still in the early stages of development on this project and they'd like your help! On March 23rd, 2015, they will start a crowd-funding campaign on their website to help raise money for the film. Please donate if you can!

This is honestly one of the most amazing and insightful talks I've had in the year and a half that we've been doing the show - it's amazing and I really hope you all enjoy!

Lastly, talk to each-other and ask for help if you feel like you need it. You're not alone.

What's going on, honey-buns!

Welcome to the award winning* WhatsaPodcast description! I'm Ryan and I'll be your guide...not through life or nothin', just through these next couple of paragraphs. Think you can handle everything after we're done?

...are you sure?

Okay - great!

This week on the podcast, I had the amazing opportunity to the wonderfully nice and funny, Gregory "Greg" Nix! Greg and I chat at length about comedy, improv, taking time for yourself and how damn weird it is to be on a podcast, because, let's be's pretty weird!

I sincerely hope you all enjoy this little convo we've cooked up and I sincerely hope you check out Greg and his team Johnny Law at their show, Johnny Law Presents: The Lockdown, every Monday night at The Clubhouse in Los Angeles. Do it!

Lastly, please remember to subscribe to the show - it helps us out and it helps you out! Also, if you like what you hear, feel free to write an itty bitty review in iTunes. It helps save goldfish from children...we all remember Finding Nemo, don't we?

Is that it? I think that's it!

Welcome to WhatsaPodcast - it's so so so so SO freaking lovely to have you; we have a great episode planned! Did I use that semicolon correctly? I think I did, but...on second thought, maybe not...

Seriously though - this episode is a-m-a-z-i-n-g-!

I (Boring Ryan) got the opportunity to chat with the wonderfully funny, sweet and talented Craig Bullock (esteemed guest). We spoke at length about work, the stresses of Los Angeles, comedy, health and whether or not ghosts are real. Spoiler alert...they are...seriously.

I sincerely hope you kids enjoy this episode! As always, thank you so much for listening - it really does mean a lot <3
